Like a detective is on their trail to find them for esther. But The Theif Lord saves Prosper and Boniface from wondering in Venice and introduces them to the other children he saved from a poor street life. Who is this Thief Lord? Well read the book to find out. And it's actually located in our very own school library!
I absolutely enjoyed this exciting book. I liked how Funke took two characters and put in a city where is told to be flowing with magic and created a story that lead to an ending which I didn't expect to have ended this way. The characters are also well put together with their own personalities that none of them seem similar. One thing that i have to say that this book actually helped in my life. Since there is parts about stealing there was parts about selling the stolen items. And part of that there's bargaining for the items. This is how the story helped me. When I was in Thailand for the Missions Trip, we happened to go to the Night Bazzare sometime after I read the part where Prosper bargains. I was shopping and I saw these beautiful pants for my Mom so I went over to buy it. The owner asked for 250 or 300 bot (some where around there) and I told him 200 bot. He said it was too low so he renamed it 30 bot lower. I didn't agree so I walked away and at the last minute he said 210 bot. I definately agreed immedeately. So here is my opinion on the book and a little note to self: Remenber what books teach you or try to pay attention to every detail in a book.
