Summary: This book is about a pig which was runt and saved by his friends. A girl named Fern saves the pig’s life when her father Mr. Arable was going to kill the pig because it was a runt. But Fern saves him and sells him to Uncle Zuckerman. She named the pig Wilbur, and sold him for 6 dollars. Fern loved Wilbur and came to the Mr. Zuckerman’s farm almost every day to see Wilbur. Wilbur got used live in the pigpen and make friends in the barn.
One day was raining and Wilbur felt very lonely. He needed a true friend who would talk to him and play with him. Suddenly a kind voice came from the darkness. Wilbur wanted to see the owner of the voice but he couldn’t because it was cloudy and dark. When the next day’s light came up Wilbur still couldn’t see. So Wilbur called and heard a pleasant voice. Still he couldn’t see so he asked where she is. She was in the corner of the door of the barn. She was a big grey spider. Wilbur was surprised but they soon became the best friends. One day an old sheep came and told Wilbur that Mr. Arable and Mr. Zuckerman are going to kill him to make bacon and ham. Wilbur was really shocked. He was crying that he didn’t want to die. He wanted to live. Charlotte was disturbed and told Wilbur that she is going to save Wilbur. She wasn’t sure but one day an idea came up. She planned to write words in her web. She wrote “SOME PIG”, “TERRIFIC” and Wilbur became so popular that he wasn’t going to die and was served like a king. Wilbur was having happy life as a special pig and one day his friend Charlotte was about to die after she made an egg sac. Wilbur wasn’t ready to leave his best friend. But a creature can not last forever. Charlotte left the world in front of Wilbur. Wilbur who was saved by his friends never forgot Charlotte.

I loved this book. This book says about friendship on earth. I liked the way they saved their friend. I think I’m going to read this book several times more. This book wasn’t’ hard as books that my friends read. I learned that I need to be a good friend of others.
