Among The Hidden is about an overpopulated world that the government is trying to resolve.They did this by making a law saying that every family was only allowed to have two children at the most. This story is about how the Garner family did have a third child and kept Luke Garner in hiding at all times by keeping him in the house. When the Barons, a rich class of the government, moves in next door to the Garners, Luke finds out that they too have a "third child." After days of thinking if he should go and meet the third child, he risks his life to go meet Jen Talbot. Jen is forming a group to protest against the government by bringing all thrid children together. When Luke gets invited, he shockingly decided not to go. As he worries about his new friends fate, he cant help but think something terrible is going to happen..

I do like the book, I have read all of the other series. I do not like the fact that in the book they limited how many children a family was allowed to have. There was so much violence in it, that it made me really sad to have to erad about it.
