Artemis Fowl: the Arctic Incident

Title: Artemis Fowl: the Arctic Incident
Author: Eoin Colfer
ISBN: 0-439-44143-9
This is the second part of the Artmeis series. In this book Artemis finds out about his father and tries to save him but he's not the only one with problems. Back at the LEP the fairies were having a hard time. So then Artemis and his old rival, Holly unites to help each other. Artemis would help the LEP stop the trolls from overthrowing them, when the one responsible for this was one of their very own officers. artmeis and Holly then stops Briar Cudgeon and his "queen" Opal Koboy and heads to the arctic. In the arctic Artemis' father, who had been missing for several years, was taken hostage by the Mafia. Artemis manages to save his father with tricks and shooting his father...but it ddin't to too much harm because his father already lost a leg and had several wounds everywhere. So then they all get back home and lived their normal lives once again.

My opinion on this book, like the other Artemis Fowl books, was two thumbs up. It was obviously very creative and was entertaining to read.
